I work with adults both in person in Rochester, NY and online throughout New York State. My approach is collaborative and tailored to you — we'll work at your pace, going beneath the surface to understand what's actually driving your struggles rather than just managing them. Whether you're navigating something specific or carrying a quieter sense that something needs to change, this is a space to explore that honestly and with real support.

Every relationship has seasons — some harder than others. I work with couples navigating crisis or significant change, as well as those looking to deepen their connection and improve intimacy. Together we'll slow down the patterns that keep you stuck, uncover what's underneath the conflict or distance, and build something more honest and resilient between you. This work asks a lot, and I'm here to support you through it.

I offer individual counseling to adults navigating trauma, relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, and questions of identity and self-worth. If you are unsure if this fits with what you’re experiencing, feel free to reach out for more information.
My specialties include:
Trauma and its effects - When the past shows up in the present in ways you can't quite explain.
Identity and self-worth - When you've lost touch with who you are or who you want to be.
Anxiety and depression - When worry, heaviness, or emotional overwhelm gets in the way of living.
Relationships - When connecting with others — or yourself — feels harder than it should.
Chronic pain and functional disorders - When the body carries what the mind hasn't yet had space to process.

My approach is rooted in Experiential Dynamic Therapy — specifically Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), a highly researched method that works directly with emotions and defenses in real time, rather than simply talking about them. With this approach, we focus on your full embodied experience in the moment, exploring how your past is showing up in your present in order to get to the root of your struggles rather than just managing symptoms.
My work is integrative by nature — beyond ISTDP, I draw from a range of modalities including parts work, narrative counseling, cognitive restructuring, and somatic experiencing, based on the unique needs of the person in front of me, because no two people heal the same way.
This work is best suited for people who are ready to go beneath the surface and looking for meaningful, lasting change. You can learn more about this approach here on my resources page.
